With all of this rain still coming down, and all of the snow still continuing to melt, Steamboat hasn’t even hit the peak of ‘melting season’. The river is just beginning to reach the top of the grassy banks, as if it is waiting for just the right time to spill out onto the surrounding land and bike path. I can’t wait for the summer to finally arrive; because once it does…we are looking at some very exciting tubing down the Yampa River! With all of this extra water we may be looking at an extra long tubing season.
